***THIS IS A RECEIVED AND SHARED POST*** The Armenian people were more proselytised by Gregory and Tiridates than they were evangelized, even though that was not their intention, at least for St. Gregory. The latter did what was humanly possible to evangelize his people. However, according to Leo, the great Armenian historian, if it were not for the sword of Tiridates, state coercion, and punitive measures taken against the pagan institutions in Armenia, and added with natural allegiance to the throne, Christianity would hardly have had a chance of succeeding in our homeland. It is interesting to note that both Gregory and Tiridates belonged to pagan priestly families. In order to win the pagan priestly dynasties over to the Christian religion, they were obliged to accommodate pagan rites and traditions in their new religion. Overnight, many pagan high priests changed hats and became priests and bishops in the newly established church. One significant consequence of the Christianization of Armenia, and nationalization of Christianity later, is that Christianity became, and remains to this day, subservient to Armenian nationalism. Another consequence of nationalization of the Christian religion is that the majority of the Armenian people display today the characteristics of a proselyte rather than the characteristics of a truly evangelized Christian. ✨ I was honored to speak at the United Nations Association of Central Pennsylvania event last night, where I had the opportunity to share the impactful work the Armenian government has been doing in collaboration with the UN. Here are some key highlights: 🗣️ Eliminating Mother-to-Child HIV Transmission Armenia's achievement in eliminating mother-to-child HIV transmission was recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and awarded by the UN Public Service Awards for innovation and excellence in delivering healthcare services in 2017. This milestone directly contributes to UN SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and is a remarkable example of collaborative efforts with the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS). I am happy to have been part of this work during my 7 years at the National Center for AIDS Prevention, Ministry of Health of Armenia. 🗣️ Integrated Social Services & Disability Assessment Platform Armenia’s Integrated System for Social Services, which I am currently working on, and the Disability Assessment Platform launched last year, are key initiatives designed to improve accessibility and efficiency in delivering social services. 📍The Disability Assessment Platform, in particular, aims to provide a more efficient, transparent, and accessible system for evaluating individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive the necessary support and services. By digitalizing and automating the assessment process, it reduces bureaucratic delays and enhances the accuracy of assessments. 📍The social services reform in #Armenia is a vital part of the country’s broader strategy to reduce poverty and enhance transparency in the delivery of services. This reform aims to integrate and streamline various social assistance programs into a single, unified platform, making it easier for citizens, especially vulnerable groups, to access the support they need. By improving efficiency and transparency, the reform contributes to the goal of delivering services that are fair, inclusive, and accountable, ensuring that no one is left behind. Both platforms contribute significantly to several UN SDGs, including: SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions. These projects are continuously supported by UN agencies in Armenia, ensuring that we can collectively reach these ambitious goals. The war that the internet forgot⚠️ The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, a long-standing territorial dispute between Armenia and Azerbaijan, has seen a recent escalation in hostilities. This region, internationally recognized as part of Azerbaijan but with a majority Armenian population, has been a flashpoint for armed clashes. Amidst this tension, Azerbaijan has utilized advanced LORA missiles from Israel, which are quasi-ballistic with a 400 km range with error probability of just 10 meters. In response, Armenia is seeking to enhance its defensive capabilities by potentially purchasing Pralay missiles from India. These missiles are an integral part of India's rocket force, boasting a range of 150 to 500 km. Pralay's quasi-ballistic nature allows for mid-flight trajectory adjustments and low-altitude travel, making them nearly impossible to intercept due to their capability to release decoys. The effectiveness of Pralay is comparable to the Iskander-M, which has been successfully deployed in Ukraine, thereby validating Pralay's combat reliability. India’s previous military support to Armenia, including Pinaka missiles and artillery guns, along with a signed deal for Akasha missiles, positions India as a significant defense partner. If Armenia finalizes the Pralay missile deal, it will be India's largest defense contract of 2024, significantly bolstering India's reputation as a major global defense exporter. Recently, the President of Azerbaijan received a ceremonial welcome in Pakistan where he expressed support for Kashmir. Therefore, this deal would not only enhance Armenia's military capabilities but also serve as a strategic warning to Azerbaijan regarding their recent focus on the Kashmir issue. Also, the deterioration in Armenia-Russia relations, with the former adamant upon a withdrawal from the Russian-led CSTO due to unmet defense promises by Russia while they were under attack by Azerbaijan, underscores Armenia's pivot towards other defense partners like India. This shift reflects the broader dynamics of regional power plays and international defense collaborations. 🇮🇱 "The axis of evil needs the Philadelphia axis and for the same reason we must control it" - summary of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's press conference: ▪️ We need to stand united as one man against a cruel enemy who wants to destroy us all, without exception. Left and right, religious and secular, Jews and non-Jews. ▪️ We discovered this not only on October 7, but throughout the war. We discovered it again in the terrible massacre, in the cold-blooded execution of six of our abductees. ▪️ Israel will not move to the agenda for this massacre. Hamas will pay a very heavy price for this. ▪️ When we left the Philadelphia axis in the past, which is the border between the Gaza Strip and Egypt, we had no barrier left to prevent the smuggling of weapons, machines for producing weapons and digging tunnels. This is how Gaza became a huge threat to the State of Israel. ▪️The axis of evil needs the Philadelphia axis and for the same reason we must control it. Hamas insists for this reason that we will not be there and for this reason I insist that we will be there. ▪️ The presence in the Philadelphia axis is first of all a political and strategic matter. We must establish the fact that we are there. This axis is different from all other axes: it is central and determines our entire future. ▪️ For many months since the first deal, Hamas has not moved. He insisted that we must declare in advance the end of the war, commit to leaving the Gaza Strip and allow him to rule there. The first crack came when we entered Rafah and took control of the Philadelphia axis and the Rafah crossing. ▪️ I know after we fought and caught them in Grogar, that this is what can give us both the abductees and incidentally prevents the smuggling of abductees above ground. ▪️ Although we are committed with every fiber of our being to promote and achieve a deal, unfortunately we have not seen a similar response from Hamas. We agreed to the outline presented by President Biden on May 31st and we agreed to what they called the 'final mediation text' on August 16th. ▪️ The importance of the Philadelphia axis is critical both in order to return the abductees but also so that Hamas is crushed and Gaza no longer poses a threat. ▪️ Once a decision has been made, it is binding because membership in the cabinet is not a program at your request. The message that we will change a strategic-vital decision under the pressure of massacring our hostages is a terrible and terrible message. It's an incentive for terrorism and murder, so it won't happen.

Please provide #evidence for the #allegations. One thing is, that I believe that these allegations are actually true. Another thing is #evidence that a #belief is true. I tend not to want to #confuse these, and I believe it is sound to continuously challenge one's #beliefs especially when serious matters are at stake: #Lives of #living beings, #environment, #peace, #catastrophe. So. Please provide the evidence, recordings, to support this message, which in itself is a catastrophe?

United States Should Defend Armenian Airlines, Kurdish Airports Against Turkish Bullying By Michael Rubin The Armenian Mirror-Spectator September 11, 2024 Rather than ignore Turkey’s efforts to constrain freedom of the skies, the United States should simply apply Turkish policy to Turkish airlines themselves. Turkey refuses to allow FlyOne to transit as it flies to Paris? Then the United States should rescind Turkish Airlines’ ability to transit American airspace. Likewise, as Turkey seeks to compel other airlines to honor its ban on Sulaymani, then the United States should make New York airports off-limits to Turkish flights, including Erdogan’s private plane when he flies to the UN General Assembly; he can fly instead to Philadelphia or Boston and drive. The same holds true for Azerbaijan Airlines if it ever resumes its Baku to New York route cancelled five years ago. President Ronald Reagan used force to defend freedom of navigation at sea. Dear Readers, As we head into Monday morning in Ontario, Canada, my recommendation from the heart is that you do not blame Prime Minister Netanyahu, because at the heart of the issue Mr. Netanyahu is not personally responsible for things like climate change and the melting glaciers which will continue melting despite of who is responsible. We can also reliably know that Mr. Netanyahu is not responsible for the opioid crises which has parallels in historical China in the 1700s, 1800s, and 1900s. However, and this is truly important, we can suggest its likely that as a Prime Minister that his behavior is accountable to the rule of law in Israel. That is likely a thing. But we cannot hold Mr. Netanyahu responsible for the rapture predicted in the Bible because trying to blame Mr. Netanyahu for that particular long-medium-or-short term risk because according to scripture it is from God which the issue originates and blaming Mr. Netanyahu would not translate into surviving the melting glaciers. In this I need to clarify that placing blame on reality does not create solutions or solve problems, therefore instead of blaming Mr. Netanyahu we would be better off investing our time in things that should legally result in outcomes like having a residence and society under the ocean within a reasonable time period. If Mr. Netanyahu used his position as Prime Minister to deprive you of the right to pursue such a residence, then he would be depriving you of the right to plan accordingly based on your desire to live under water or your response to the issue of the polar glaciers melting. What I am getting is that we have to draw a red line between blaming people for what is the reality we face because that is useless, and upholding accountability for how people react to the circumstances when it impacts our ability to plan for the circumstances of life we can reasonably predict we will need in the future to survive. How much time do we have. When there the polar glaciers still exist, we have time because the existing glaciers maintain the status quos in which we have strength to protect liberal democracy from right to left. But when the glaciers are gone, the challenge of finding the circumstances of life without the cold or the fresh water from the glaciers will make it difficult to maintain civilized society or the circumstances to maintain strength on behalf of a judicial system for example. What we have when the glaciers are gone, is what we will have to compete for life and survival, and we can only expect to have what we work for while the glaciers are still here. Also beware the push for net-zero, imagine this security scenario. We have the technology and the robots we need, but the human workers are still here. Let's tell them we will solve climate change with the net-zero carbon emissions but forget to mention it will be accomplished by surplussing humanity and sending them to the next world after this life. Upon examining satellite images, it became clear that after the occupation of Artsakh and the subsequent ethnic cleansing, the Azerbaijani regime destroyed the village of Mokhrenes in the occupied Hadrut region. Armenia Will Never Have A Sustainable And Safe Electricity Supply. After reading an article in which Karen Arutyunyan, CEO of Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA), proposed a $10 billion overhaul of Armenia’s power grid, implying a 147 AMD per W per hour tariff hike, I wondered if this estimate was realistic. Georgia recently launched its power grid modernization program, which, with $1.5 billion from the World Bank and EBRD, covers 3,550 km of transmission lines, cross-border interconnections, and substation upgrades. This project, designed to meet fluctuating demand and support renewables, averaged $1,110 per user for 1.35 million users. Applying this to Armenia, which has about one million grid users, suggests a modernization cost closer to $1.11 billion. With a 25-year asset depreciation, this would average $40 per user annually. It’s not a big ticket to avoid being stuck in elevators during outages, prematurely discarding expensive electronics damaged by voltage fluctuations, or even being killed by your fan due to improper earthing. Armenia’s grid may struggle to support renewable energy goals and maintain energy security without targeted investments. Ahead of COP29, the International Community Must Advocate for the Respect of Human Rights During the UN’s annual convention on climate change in Baku next month, democracy’s defenders have an opportunity to hold the Azerbaijani regime accountable for its human rights violations—and to push for change. COP 29, The world’s most prestigious climate conference organized by the UN is being hosted in Azerbaijan. A country known for its brutal human rights abuses and environmental destruction. A country run by a brutal Petro-dictatorship that has committed ethnic cleansing and genocide only a year ago. A country that continues to destroy ancient christian monuments that it has forcefully taken over. This cannot be the face of global climate leadership. There cannot be climate justice without human justice and respect for human rights. Demand that the world renounce this futile attempt to allow Azerbaijan to greenwash the crimes it has committed on the Armenians of Artsakh. Demand that Azerbaijan free the Armenian hostages who have been kept in the prisons of Baku.
